Introduction

The “Green Pixel Art Jam,” a digital art competition designed to celebrate digital artistry while raising awareness about pressing environmental issues. This event aims to bring together artists from diverse backgrounds to create pixel art pieces inspired by various environmental themes, fostering creativity, dialogue, and action for a sustainable future.

Themes

The theme of the competition is “Interstellar Vision.” Artists are encouraged to imagine and visualize parallel worlds where the laws of nature, time, and space diverge from our own reality. Artworks should explore concepts such as alternate dimensions, celestial habitats, inverted biomes, the resilience of nature, and the integration of nature with advanced technology.

Submission Guidelines

  • Each artist should submit only one digital artwork.
  • Artworks must be original creations and primarily digital in nature.
  • Artworks must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format.
  • Include title, artist name, creation date, and a brief description within the file or as accompanying text.
  • Artworks must be submitted via the ibis paint X that can be installed from both Play Store and app store.
  • All the works must be submitted within 01.07.2024 via given Google forms.
  • Artworks must be suitable for a general audience and free from explicit violence, nudity, or offensive material.
  • By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by the rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the resolution and aspect ratio meet the app’s requirements for optimal viewing.

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity and Originality: The uniqueness of the concept and artistic interpretation of parallel worlds.
  • Technical Skill: The quality of digital artistry, including composition, color, and technique.
  • Emotional Impact: The ability of the artwork to evoke emotion, curiosity, or contemplation in the viewer.
